Why does it say the scan is still in progress?
A URL that VirusTotal has never seen must be analysed first. Try the same link again after a minute.
Is the URL shared?
Yes. The address is submitted to VirusTotal, which may keep it in its own database, so do not scan links that contain personal tokens.
