Frequently asked questions
Which log format do I have?
Apache and Nginx default to the combined format. IIS writes W3C extended logs with a fields header. Tomcat access logs use the common format unless configured otherwise.
Are my logs uploaded?
No. Parsing happens locally in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
Can it detect bots?
It identifies browsers and operating systems from the user-agent string. Crawlers usually appear with their own names in the browser column.
