Is it safe to type my real password here?
The strength check runs in your browser, and the breach check sends only a five character hash prefix. Even so, the safest habit is to test a similar password rather than your live one.
How long should a password be?
Length matters most. Use at least 14 characters, or a passphrase of four or more random words, and a different one for every account.
What does found in a breach mean?
The password appears in leaked data sets, so attackers try it first. Stop using it everywhere.
