Frequently asked questions
Why do I need to choose a calculation method?
Prayer times, especially Fajr and Isha, are calculated from the sun's angle below the horizon, and different Islamic authorities/regions use slightly different angle conventions (e.g. Umm Al-Qura University for Saudi Arabia, ISNA for North America, Muslim World League globally). Choosing the method used in your region gives the most locally accurate times.
